Here’s an interview with Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg that was on CSN Washington. He sounds focused and upbeat for things to begin. I think this will be the best team we’ve had here in D.C. since baseball came back as long as the team stays healthy.

I’m glad to see that everything is fine with Stephen Strasburg following his first start and then his throwing session afterward. I’m happy with how the Washington Nationals are bringing him back from his Tommy John surgery and look forward to seeing him pitch for the Potomac Nationals on Friday.

Pudge May Catch Strasburg’s Sta...
I’m glad to see that Pudge has recovered and will be rejoining the Washington Nationals soon. I’m happier to hear he may be Stephen Strasburg’s catcher in the pitcher’s first game in almost a year.
If all goes well with both players we may get to see this same pair hookup at Nationals Park in a similar role.

Stephen Strasburg To Pitch Sunday In ...
Stephen Strasburg will pitch Sunday in Hagerstown and throw between 35-40 pitches according to Washington Nationals GM Mike Rizzo.
Rizzo said the plan is to follow the script that was used with Jordan Zimmermann last season. If all goes well the team would like to see Strasburg pitch somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 innings before the end [...]
Stephen Strasburg Update
I’m looking forward to watching Stephen Strasburg pitch again, and I believe he may have a few Cy Young’s in his future. Now the excitement among Nats fans and baseball fans in general will start building in anticipation of his first rehab start sometime next week.
It doesn’t matter that he will pitch only 2 or 3 innings [...]

It’s time for the Washington Nationals to see what some of these young pitchers can do at the MLB level. Brad Peacock is ready and needs to get a taste of the big leagues. I think Tom Milone is ready as well.
Don’t forget about Stephen Strasburg coming back at some point, but I don’t care if we don’t see him until ne [...]

There Is Nobody At Fault For The Inju...
Look here is the deal, yes it sucks that Stephen Strasburg is having Tommy John surgery. Who’s fault is it? Nobody, thats who! I’ve heard some people start the grumbling about the injury and wanting to blame someone or something because he got hurt. This is a very common injury among baseball pitchers, like an ACL tear in football [...]

Looking Forward To Stephen Strasburg&...
After months of waiting we will finally get our chance to see pitcher Stephen Strasburg make his debut for the Washington Nationals. We won’t get to see him for long against the Detroit Tigers in his 1st spring training outing, somewhere in the 3o-40 pitch range which is about 1-2 innings of work. All the fans I have spoken with are rea [...]
