After hearing GM Ernie Grunfeld describe the Washington Wizards roster as being “stale” and needing some “freshness”, it got me thinking. The whole sports scene here in D.C. seems ” stale” and in need of some “freshness” now that the Washington Capitals are on break for the Winter Olympics. So I have come up with a great way to “freshen” things up.
NBA Trade Deadline Approaching
The NBA trade deadline is a week away and can’t get here fast enough for Washington Wizards fans! The team has been a complete mess with the game of basketball taking the backseat because of the drama. This was supposed to be different with a healthy Gilbert Arenas and Brendon Haywood rejoining their teammates on the court and making a return to the NBA Playoffs.
