Can the Washington Capitals close out the New York Rangers in Game 6 on the road in Madison Square Garden? I had the Caps winning this series in six games before it started, but I’ll admit that I was getting nervous after the series returned to the Nation’s Capital tied up at 2-2.
I couldn’t help but wonder if another May Meltdown was in progress after they lost two games in New York that allowed the Rangers to get back into the series. That has been the team’s M.O. for as long as I can remember. They continually find ways to fall apart in the NHL Playoffs and torture Caps fan’s every spring, but I’m hoping this year will be different. A road win in Game 6 would be a huge step in the right direction.
