Chien-Ming Wang Heading Back To New York

The New York Yankees have reached a deal to bring pitcher Chien-Ming Wang back to the Bronx after he pitched 12 shutout innings for Chinese Tapei in this year’s World Baseball Classic.

Wang started his career with the Yankees in 2005 and played five seasons in the Bronx, posting back to back 19 win seasons in 2006 and 2007. He’s battled multiple injuries since then, but does seem to be finally healthy and back on top of his game.

He has a career record of 61-32 with a 4.26 ERA in seven major league seasons.
