Wizards Head West With Some Momentum

Bradley Beal and John Wall

The Washington Wizards have a healthy John Wall back on the court and a three game winning streak as they head out on a tough five-game West Coast road trip. The Wizards have looked like a completely different team with Wall back in action and this road trip will tell us a lot.

This team isn’t as bad as their 7-28 record indicates. They started the regular season without their top two players and it’s hard to win in the NBA like that. The biggest issue has been a lack of scoring but with Wall and Nene back that shouldn’t be much of a problem going forward. Plus rookie Bradley Beal’s been coming on strong recently and was named NBA Rookie Of The Month in December.

They’ve played pretty good defense for the most part and allow 96.7 points per game which is tied for 10th in the NBA. I like the commitment to playing defense and hope to see it continue now that guys are getting healthy.

I really like what I’m seeing from Wall, he’s playing with more control and displaying the type of leadership that’s been missing this season.
