The Washington Nationals will resume their nine-game road trip with a huge three-game series against the N.L. East rival Atlanta Braves. The Nats are leading the division by one game over the Braves and went 9-9 against them during the 2011 season.
The Braves are limping home after losing four straight against the red hot Cincinnati Reds. The Braves had been playing really solid baseball recently and briefly took over first place in the division, but the Nats have jumped back in front.
This is going to be a fun summer in D.C. with the Nationals actually in the mix and having a legitimate shot at making the NL Playoffs for the first time since baseball returned to D.C.!
