The NBA lockout is finally over and a shortened 66 game season will began on Christmas Day according to Ken Berger of CBS Sports. The league will have a similar player signing frenzy like the NFL had this past summer after they settled their labor lockout.
I’m happy to see the league get this deal done and now we can put all of this crap behind us and move forward with the 2011-12 NBA Season. I didn’t think we’d have a season after the NBPA disbanded and the players filed lawsuits in two different states over the past couple weeks.
It’s going to be a very busy month around the NBA with the new labor deal being ratified and training camps opening along with free agent signings taking place.
