Thumbs Up For NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell

In the Thursday edition of the USA Today I read a small piece in the Sports section on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and a really cool thing he did for some football fans! He seen a story about some Saints fans and he decided to send them to the Super Bowl on the NFL. They didn’t believe it at first when they were contacted by NFL V.P. Brian McCarthy and told what Commissioner Goodell wanted to do for them. I can’t blame them because I would never have bought it at first either. It’s not everyday that the NFL Commissioner contacts people out of the blue and does something like this for all of us Average Joe’s! I think it’s a really classy move on Mr. Goodell’s part. He understands that it is the fans that make it possible for the NFL to exist, any sports leagues for that matter! Plus it is nice to hear some positive news in the world of sports when most of what we hear is so negative. It’s unfortunate, but that is what sells and grabs ratings in the world today.
