Like the old saying goes, it’s not personal, it’s business. It happens every year in the NFL where a team parts ways with big name players. In the past few days we have seen the San Diego Chargers release RB Ladainian Tomlinson and the Philadelphia Eagles do the same with Brian Westbrook. It wasn’t long ago that these guys were franchise players and big parts of both teams offenses. I think sometimes fans forget the NFL is a business and sometimes in business you must make tough decisions. Both guys have indicated they intend to continue their NFL careers in another city with new teams in 2010.
