It appears that the New York Yankees are stronger going into this 2010 MLB season. They are coming off their 27th World Series Championship and look to be primed for a run at the franchises 28th this year. The team has just signed veteran pitcher Chan Ho Park to add to their stout bullpen. I like the additions of Curtis Granderson to play CF and Javier Vazquez to the starting rotation and think adding them does nothing but make this team even stronger heading into the season. Closer Mariano Rivera is 40, but shows no signs of slowing down and had a great year last season with 44 saves and I expect to see more of the same! This guy is looks like he can pitch for at least a couple more seasons. Rivera and team Captain Derek Jeter who had a great 2009 season as well are entering the final year of their contracts and GM Brian Cashman said he will wait until the end of the season before working on new deals for each.
