Ladainian Tomlinson Is Not Finished

The San Diego Chargers releasing RB Ladainian Tomlinson is no big shocker. The writing has been on the wall for quite sometime. As soon as I heard the news a picture of Shaun Alexander popped in my head. The dramatic drop in production for both guys is almost identical. Mike Sando from the NFL Nation Blog on ESPN did a great piece on the decline of both RB’s that shows how close the drop is. I still think L.T. can still help a team if he gets into the right situation. He is not a feature back at this point in his career, but if used right he can be an asset to the right team. The rumors are already flying as to his next destination and there are 10 teams who may go after him. The NFL off season is in full gear now and I expect it to heat up some more in the coming days!
