After 12 NFL seasons and 3 Super Bowl appearances to go with 2 NFL MVP awards QB Kurt Warner has called it a career. Now the Hall Of Fame debate begins in full force and it seems like everyone has an opinion and I’m a little confused about why there is such a debate going on. This guy is perhaps the greatest rags to riches story in NFL history, but that is not the reason he belongs in Canton,OH. He belongs because of how well he played QB in the NFL! Take a look at where he is sitting in regards to his playing stats, #2 All Time in Completion Percentage and Pass Yards Per Game, #6 in Passer Rating and #26 in TD Passes. He won those 2 NFL MVP Awards playing with the ST. Louis Rams and won a Super Bowl. Last year he guided the Arizona Cardinals to their only Super Bowl appearance and they were ahead in the game with a couple of minutes to go in the game. At 38 years old this season he again led the Cardinals to the playoffs and had some great numbers, 26 TD’s with 14 Int’s and 3,753 passing yards and a 93.2 Passer Rating. I think he could play a couple more seasons if he wanted. He deserves to get a yellow jacket as soon as he is eligible!
