I was really glad to hear Jason Campbell fire back at Clinton Portis after Portis dogged him on the radio. The Washington Post writer Jason Reid has a great article that you should read if you have not already. I’m not quite sure why Portis would say things on the radio about Campbell’s ability to be a leader and should not have been made a captain among other things. Portis saying stupid things to the media is nothing new, he has done that crap since he got here. I don’t think Portis will be here much longer because Mike Shanahan will not let Clinton frolic around and do as he pleases while his teammates are busting their a$$e$ to get ready to play football. After Campbell found out he responded by calling Portis out on a lot of things including Portis getting special treatment from the owner and about how Portis will go and talk with Dan Snyder about teammates and team issues. It’s a great story that Jason Reid wrote and it goes to prove just how dysfunctional the team had become under Vinny Cerrato’s leadership. After I sat back and thought about the situation a little further, could Portis have been the driving force behind managements attempts to get rid of Jason Campbell last offseason? Remember that it’s been said before that Clinton would talk to the front office about player moves in the past. After you read the article come back on here and let me know what you think. I think he was, now you make the call!

You nailed it, and I have to agree with you on the fact that we are now the biggest joke of a team in the NFL. It’s really hard to watch the team go through this long period of mediocrity we have seem stuck in and can’t figure a way out! I was 8 years old and watching the Super Bowl with my parents when John Riggins broke that big run against the Miami Dolphins. I grew up in the golden age of Redskins football and miss it very much. You are right about the week after a loss being torturous for all of us Redskins fans!
