It’s hard to believe that the NFL regular season has 2 weeks left before the Playoffs start. Here in the Nations Capital it’s Dallas week, but does anyone really care? As a Redskins fan a win over Dallas will have to be our Super Bowl this year. When the NFL schedule first came out and I saw that Dallas would be coming here in the cold weather I thought there was a great chance of the game having playoff implications and it does. But not for my Redskins who limp into this game at 4-10 and Dallas rolls into town at 9-5 and in position to still win the division if they win their last 2 games. It would be a great Christmas gift for the fans if the Skins win this game. The Cowboys are coming off a huge win over the New Orleans Saints who were 13-0. That is the type of late season win that can get a teams confidence and swagger into high gear and allow them to make a strong run deep into the post season. It reminded me of the Arizona Cardinals run to the Super Bowl last year. QB Tony Romo needed that win to help silence the critics about his big game meltdowns of seasons past. So will the Cowboys be this years Arizona Cardinals? I hope not!
