Yankees Roll To 27

The Yankees winning their 27th World Series and first in 9 years was a beautiful site to see. The moment was even sweeter because they did it at home in front of their fans and in their brand new ballpark. I think they have the talent to do it again next year. Derek Jeter, Andy Petite, Jorge Posada and Mariano Rivera won their 5th World Series together as Yankees teammates. The team will be faced with some tough decisions and I think the biggest one is whether or not to resign World Series MVP Hideki Matsui. I think it’s a no brainer and should be done as soon as they can. I know that he is a DH at this point in his career, but this guy can hit and isn’t afraid of the spotlight or pressure of playing in New York. No matter what, this team will be loaded going into next season.
