NFL Thanksgiving Day Games

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! It’s hard to believe that the holiday season is here, where did 2009 go? I’m ready for some football, but to be honest, I’m not that excited about these games today. Why do football fans have to suffer through watching the Detroit Lions play every Thanksgiving? They are never in the hunt for anything other than a top 5 pick in the NFL Draft! I can’t stand the Cowboys, but at least they are watchable! I love the night game that was added a few years back and I think tonights game between the Denver Broncos and New York Giants will be a good game that both need to win! I’ve always wondered why the Lions and Cowboys always play at home on Thanksgiving? The league is always looking for ways to improve it’s product for the fans and I think this should be a no brainer! Here are my picks for today: Packers over Lions, Cowboys over Raiders, Giants over Broncos,  enjoy the games!
