ALCS: Angels vs Yankees

This is going to be a great series and we are just hours away from the first pitch. I have the Yankees winning in 6. The teams split the season series 5-5. The biggest boost for the Yankees is that Alex Rodriguez had a big series against the Minnesota Twins in the divisional series and won’t have to answer questions about his lack of playoff production. That does become a distraction no matter what anyone says. The new Yankee Stadium has the same Yankee magic as evidenced in the Twins series. The Yankee offense is just as potent as ever with every player in their projected starting lineup having at least 13 home runs. Derek Jeter has looked  great this season and should be in contention for his first ever MVP award and in my opinion Mark Teixeira needs to be considered as well after his monster first season in pinstripes was a huge success.
